Settling In Services

No matter where an employee relocates, tasks that seem straightforward at home can be challenging in the new host country. Our Destination Consultants help relocating employees and their families with the following:

• Securing a bank account
• Accompanying the relocating employee to meet local and national registration requirements
• Support in obtaining a Driver’s License or State issued ID
• Familiarizing the employee and family with local healthcare facilities, libraries, park districts, fitness centers, etc.

During the Settling-in service, specific attention is given to the trailing partner in helping them assimilate into their new surroundings. This is the first step in meeting new people, becoming part of the community and beginning to establish the relationships that are critical for assignment success.
