Meet Our Management Team
Drawing on our years of international experience, the IOR Management Team offers clients a unique perspective on addressing and solving global challenges. We listen to our clients to create customized solutions that meet their objectives and budget. Our team of thought leaders and industry experts provide clients with timely market insights and knowledge.
Rob Burns Chief Executive Officer
Rob is responsible for setting IOR’s strategic growth objectives; working closely with the management team to execute the strategic plan; and ensuring the company’s financial strength and soundness. Rob came to IOR from the investment banking industry. He was responsible for managing global corporate relationships, developing new business, and advising clients on strategic transactions. He holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in Finance from Clemson University, where he spent a year studying and working abroad in London.
Suzy Leinbach, GMS, MIM Senior Director, Quality and Customer Experience
Suzy oversees IOR’s Client Services team and Quality Management, as well as supervises IOR’s continuous improvement-based business system, the IQ System (IOR Quality System). As Director of Client Services, she is responsible for maintaining superior program delivery and client satisfaction for Destination Services, Language Training, and Cultural Training programs. As Director of Quality Management, she ensures IOR is exceeding quality objectives and key performance indicators across all IOR businesses. Prior to IOR, Suzy worked for Hewitt Associates, First Commonwealth, and was a substitute teacher at the elementary level. She has a BA in Economics from DePauw University. Her international experience includes a sojourn in Paris as an au pair, Rome as a student, and Mainz, Germany as an expat spouse.
Cheryl Hart, CRP, GMS Director, Destination Services
Cheryl oversees all aspects of IOR’s Destination Services program delivery and quality assurance procedures. She manages IOR’s resourcing and global Destination Services Consultant network, working with the Client Services team to maintain program quality and supporting the sales staff in their efforts to grow the Destination Services business. Prior to joining IOR, Cheryl had 12 years’ experience in employee staffing and recruitment. She also worked for Cultural Care Au Pair as a Local Childcare Coordinator. Cheryl holds a BS in Merchandising from Florida State University in Tallahassee.
Teresa Guitterez, GMS Director, Intercultural Solutions and Diversity & Inclusion Lead
Teresa designs and facilitates face-to-face and virtual learning opportunities focused on developing intercultural communication skills, building multicultural teams, post M&A integration, and building skills for addressing the challenges of today’s complex global work environment. Teresa also oversees IORs network of professional intercultural trainers around the world. She brings a wealth of experience from being a Marketing Director of a leading international school in Shanghai, and also brings operations and management experience, through working in the expatriate service provider space in China as well. She holds a BA in Political Science from UCLA, and a Master of Science in Management from Boston University.
Diana Melbourn, GMS MIM+ Director, Global Client Solutions
As IOR’s Director of Global Client Solutions, Diana is responsible for developing and maintaining partner relationships and identifying effective and cost-competitive Destination Services, Language, and Intercultural training solutions for her global client base. Diana also oversees IOR’s Sales and Marketing department and ensures her team’s objectives best align with industry trends and continuously meet the evolving needs of IOR’s customers. Diana’s professional background is enhanced with a B.S. Ed degree in Health Education from Northern Illinois University. Prior to cultivating business opportunities for IOR, Diana began her career in mobility as an expatriate in Taiwan and Antigua for three years. While navigating the many challenges of living and working abroad, Diana developed empathy and an innate desire to bridge cultural gaps amongst her students, fellow colleagues, and expatriate friends from across the globe.
Jenny Rudnick, CPA Director, Accounting
Jenny oversees all of the Accounting, Payroll and Human Resources functions of IOR. She joined IOR in 2012 following ten years in public accounting with Ballen & Co. in Lake Forest, IL. Prior to that, she worked at a number of corporations including Moore Business Forms Inc. and Omron Healthcare in all facets of corporate accounting. Currently, she is the outside accountant for a number of non-profit cultural organizations including the Lake Forest Symphony. Born and raised in Chicago, Jenny has lived in England and Israel and has travelled extensively; including six months spent driving overland from Sri Lanka to Denmark. Jenny attended Connecticut College and Pomona University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Rita Shulda, M.A., GMS Director, Language Training & Innovation
Rita manages the IOR language department as well as IOR’s
individual, group, and corporate language training courses for
international assignees, families, and children. Rita joined IOR from Illinois State University (ISU) where she graduated with a Master of Arts in Spanish Linguistics and Pedagogy. She also has a certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and taught English at ISU to various programs from Mexico and Panama. Rita has lived in Spain and Ecuador, both as a student and volunteer. She is trilingual in English, Spanish, and Italian.
