Departure Services

IOR’s Destination Consultants are there to help employees with the transition back home or to the next location. As the relocation process begins again, IOR’s support allows the employee to focus more fully on transitioning work responsibilities and the family to close their experience on a positive note. Our Destination Consultants help advocate for the assignee and their family to facilitate the return of 100% of the security deposit to save time and money.

Moving out is a detailed process. IOR Destination Consultants will:

• Assist with canceling the lease and closing out utilities
• Provide information on closing bank and other accounts
• Conduct a Pre-Departure walk through (review condition of property and make recommendations for cleaning or repairs as required by the lease)
• Conduct a final walk through and complete the Property Inventory
• Negotiate return of Security Deposit
