ROB BURNS

Chief Executive Officer

Rob came to IOR from the investment banking community having managed global corporate relationships, developed new business, and advised clients on strategic transactions. He was instrumental in expanding US and European teams while covering global diversified industrial companies at Jefferies, Bank of America, JP Morgan and Schroders in New York.

Rob holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in Finance from Clemson University, where he spent a year studying and working abroad in London.


KENDRA MIRASOL, GMS-T
President

Kendra joined IOR in 2006 following a four-year expatriate assignment in Tokyo, Japan. Her previous experience includes roles in sales, marketing and finance for RR Donnelley and Sons, Siemens and The McGraw-Hill Companies. In addition to living and working globally, Kendra has directed efforts with various not-for-profit groups and provides scholarship funding for university students to work and study abroad.

Kendra earned her MBA from The University of Chicago in Finance and Accounting and her BA in German Literature and Linguistics from the University of California, Irvine. She is proficient in German and Japanese, and has studied multiple other languages.
CHERYL HART, GMS
Director, Destination Services

Cheryl oversees all aspects of IOR’s Destination Services program delivery and quality assurance procedures. Her responsibilities include managing IOR's resourcing and global Destination Services Consultant network, working closely with the Client Services team to maintain program quality and supporting the sales staff in their efforts to grow the Destination Services business. 

Cheryl joined the IOR team in 2008 and was promoted to Senior Destination Program Manager in 2013. Prior to joining IOR, Cheryl had 12 years’ experience in employee staffing and recruitment in such fields as Administration, Accounting and Legal.  She also worked for Cultural Care Au Pair as a Local Childcare Coordinator where she helped hundreds of Au Pairs coming to the US each year with Area Orientation and Settling in Assistance. Cheryl holds a BS in Merchandising from Florida State University in Tallahassee.


CHARISSE KOSOVA, M.Ad.Ed. 
Director, Global Talent Development 

Charisse works closely with IOR’s multinational clients and partners to design and facilitate face-to-face and virtual learning & development opportunities focused on developing intercultural communication skills; building multicultural teams; post M&A integration; and building skills for addressing the challenges of today’s complex global work environment. She has been affiliated with IOR for more than 15 years, and also oversees IOR’s network of professional intercultural trainers worldwide.

Charisse has lived and worked in the US, Morocco, Japan and the UK, as well as Ethiopia as a child. She also has a passion for work in the non-profit sector and worked in adult literacy in Chicago and Austin, and served in the Peace Corps in Morocco.

Charisse holds a BA in Sociology / Journalism and Master's in Adult Education. She is certified in several intercultural assessment instruments and holds ASTD certification in Workplace Learning & Performance Coaching and in E-learning Design. She has been a presenter at SIETAR USA; HRMAC (Human Resource Management Association of Chicago); FEM; many local ERC chapters and at conferences and meetings for IOR partner organizations.


AGATA PACIORA, MBA
Director, Language Training

Agata is responsible for managing IOR’s individual and group training programs for international assignees, families and children, as well as designing corporate group language training programs to improve verbal communication skills in a business setting. Agata joined IOR in 2013 from Seaton Corporation where she worked as a Client Support Specialist, recruiting for several client companies such as McKesson Corporation and Delta Airlines. Prior to that she worked for several companies teaching ESL, Advanced Grammar and Composition, and Spanish.

Born and raised in Chicago, Agata has traveled extensively, primarily to study cross-cultural dimensions in business in South America and Southeast Asia. Agata received her MBA from Loyola’s Quinlan School of Business with a specialization in International Business. She also holds a BA from Loyola University in International Studies, Spanish Language & Literature as well as Studio Art. Agata is trilingual in English, Spanish and Polish with basic competency in French and Arabic.


SUZY LEINBACH, GMS 
Director, Client Services and Quality Management

Suzy oversees IOR’s Client Services and Global Resourcing departments, as well as supervises IOR's continuous improvement-based business system, the IQ System (IOR Quality System). As Director of Client Services, she is responsible for maintaining superior program delivery and client satisfaction for Destination Services and Cultural Training programs throughout the world and for IOR’s Global Resourcing, which recruits and trains contract employees across the globe.  Additionally, Suzy was a key member of the team that led IOR's work towards achieving the EuRA Global Quality Seal in early 2014. As Director of Quality Management, she ensures IOR is exceeding quality objectives and key performance indicators across all IOR businesses. 

Prior to IOR, Suzy worked for Hewitt Associates, First Commonwealth, and was a substitute teacher at the elementary level. She has a BA in Economics from DePauw University. Her international experience includes a sojourn in Paris as an au pair, Rome as a student, and Mainz, Germany as an expat spouse with her husband. Suzy has studied French, Italian, and German.


MAURA CONNOR

Director, Global Marketing 

Maura brings over 15 years of marketing and sales experience to the position and has worked in B2B businesses, technology, travel and consumer goods.  She specializes in brand development, project management and online media and recently completed a 3-year expatriate assignment in Melbourne, Australia. 

Before joining IOR, Maura drove overall brand and product awareness for Poshe’ Nailcare through PR campaigns in magazines such as Redbook and Allure as well as online media.  She has also held marketing and business development roles at RR Donnelley & Sons and Orbitz.  Maura has a BS in Communications and Broadcasting from Illinois State University.


JENNY RUDNICK, CPA
Director, Accounting

Jenny oversees all of the Accounting, Payroll and Human Resources functions of IOR.  She joined IOR in 2012 following ten years in public accounting with Ballen & Co. in Lake Forest, IL.  Prior to that, she worked at a number of corporations including Moore Business Forms Inc. and Omron Healthcare in all facets of corporate accounting.  Currently, she is the outside accountant for a number of non-profit cultural organizations including the Lake Forest Symphony. 

Born and raised in Chicago, Jenny has lived in England and Israel and has travelled extensively; including six months spent driving overland from Sri Lanka to Denmark. Jenny attended Connecticut College and Pomona University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
