Ensuring Start-Up Venture Success: Saudi Arabia

Challenge: A global energy company was sending a new executive team to a start-up venture in Saudi Arabia and wanted to ensure the success of the project and the team.

IOR Program Solution: IOR provided a 2-day group intercultural training, which addressed the specific issues and challenges facing the team.  Country resources contributed up-to-date information and assistance in preparing strategies for success.  A question and answer  conference call with the head of a Saudi-British Chamber of Commerce in Saudi Arabia was incorporated into the program along with a two-hour security briefing by a professional security firm.

Results: The Company had a head start in reaching its business objectives in Saudi Arabia and avoided potential costly mistakes.
