Contract Training and Coaching Positions

Contract Trainers for Group Global Business / Leadership Programs
Qualifications:

  1. Substantial experience of living and working in other countries and cultures
  2. A degree in intercultural studies / international business, etc.
  3. A teaching or training qualification with emphasis on working with adults, cooperative learning and /or group work
  4. A successful track record in delivering outstanding group business and corporate training programs for a variety of audiences

Training Aptitude:
A proven track record in interactive group team-building and leadership programs displaying the following skills:
  1. Ability to think on one's feet and modify the training curriculum during the training, as necessary
  2. Training room management skills, including: knowledge of group dynamics; ensuring that all participants are included; handling difficult participants;
  3. Collaborative training skills that successfully integrate either co-trainers and/or program consultants
  4. An ability to integrate peer-teaching and group work into a workshop-type program
  5. Understanding of the difference between facilitating and assisting instead of prescribing
  6. Ability to integrate the delivery of culture-general and culture-specific content.
  7. Expertise in using simulations and interactive learning games
  8. Ability to apply the experiential learning cycle (ELC). This includes the selection and use of culture-specific scenarios presented in the form of significant incidents, case studies, skits, and role-plays, along with discussion, which applies to all phases of the ELC.
  9. Emphasis on problem identification and solution instead of acquisition of knowledge only
  10. Emphasis on learning how to learn instead of learning facts only
  11. Expertise in using PowerPoint and the LCD projector, overhead projectors, VHS players, DVD players, and other AV equipment
When using activities not contained in the curriculum, ability to choose and deliver activities that achieve the curriculum objectives.
