• Contact moving company to coordinate moving dates
• Contact utility and cable companies to close out accounts
  • Phone numbers and account numbers are on the bills
  • Arrange for last meter readings.
  • Give forwarding address of where to send the last bill – either company or yourself
• Cancel renter’s insurance
• Inform school of your pending move – obtain school records
• Inform doctors and dentists of pending move
  • Obtain medical and dental records
  • Fill prescriptions before you leave
• Call the vet if you have a pet

  • Make sure all shots are up to date for moving pet internationally
• Call the bank with change of address; keep account open for any unforeseen bills such as last utility bills
